re:context started because I needed it myself.
Earlier this year, I was suddenly made redundant. I had years of experience across analysis, commercial strategy and digital advertising yet the moment I opened my CV, I could not explain myself cleanly. On paper I looked like a list of job titles. In my head I knew I could do more. I was simply too close to it to see the thread.
I started pulling apart the work I had actually done: the problems I had solved, the judgement I had used and the things people relied on me for. Once I could see the pattern, writing the CV became much easier. Within months, I had moved into a new role. That is what re:context grew from. I want you to sound clearer, not like a corporate stranger.

Can you help if I’m changing careers or returning after a break?
That’s a useful place to start. We can look at what carries across, what needs explaining and what the next role actually asks for. I won’t pretend every gap can be solved by changing the wording.
Do I need to know how to use AI already?
No. You can come with a task you haven’t tried yet or a draft that isn’t working. Any practical support is built around what you need to do and the tools you’re allowed to use.
What does the free review include?
A focused written view of what you send and whether I think further help would be useful. It isn’t a full rewrite, a training session or a promise of a particular result.
How much does paid support cost?
It depends on the work we agree. I’ll give you a written recommendation with the scope, timing and fee before you decide. The free review doesn’t commit you to anything.
Is re:context an app?
It’s a service you work on with me. Your re:source is the private record you leave with, not a software subscription or another account to keep up with.
Can you guarantee a job or a pay rise?
No. I can help with the work we agree, but employers make the hiring decisions. I won’t promise a result I can’t control.
Is what I send private?
Yes. I use your material only to reply to the review or deliver work you choose to commission. It is not sold, used for advertising or published on your behalf. I only keep useful background for future work if you give me permission.
